Deathrow: Hi debaser can you please explain for all the readers who might not know who you are what complete control are all about?
debaser: Well, we are a multi-gaming organisation consisting of CSS, COD2, BF2142 and Quake 4. The organisation is run by Balth. The CSS line-up is me, Quiver the in-game caller, techno, Maddave, Tucker and nutsey the 6th.

You have been active recently online winning the EnemyDown Open Cup and one of the SGL One Night Stands, beating teams like EDGE and TLR. What would you say is next on the online agenda?
At the moment we have a lot happening online including The Packard Bell Cup, Clanbase Open Cup, the SGL Championship Final and the SGL Rapid Play League. The Packard Bell cup is top of the list at the moment!

That is being run in EnemyDown, which has had some good teams join lately. Most of your players came through the ED ranks under –XX- and UkUnit. Do you think EnemyDown is a good start for clans trying to breakthrough, and did it help you on your way?
Of course it did, EnemyDown is a great league and isn't just a place for clans to start. The people who constantly flame ED need to sit back, take a look at the events they run and think about what they're saying!

A lot of European teams have entered the league, which brings me on to my next topic, the I-series. Complete-Control are attending, where do you think you will place seeding wise with your success as of late?
Realistically looking at the calibre of teams at this i-series I think 9th-12th.

Do you think you can pull off an upset and possibly finish in the top8 in order to get some sort of prize?
Hopefully we can pull of a few upsets and give most of the teams a decent game. We would be very happy with a top 8 finish and some cash to take home

After the I-series what are the team’s plans with many European events happening and also is the CGS a prospect, despite techno possibly being too young?
To be honest we haven't really thought about what will happen after the I-series, CGS is out of the picture as techno, quiver and tucker are all too young.

The lineup appears to be very close to each other. Can you explain for all the readers who perhaps have not heard of you how the lineup came about?
The team basically came together after some disappointing results at i31 from the original cC team. I decided to move on and quiver was clanless so we talked about starting a clan. We found Tucker after playing against him at i31; he stood out as a strong player so decided to see if he was interested. Maddave came from the old cC team with me and we later asked techno to join when TLR were having problems with jai and lib going to university.

Do you think that the LAN will help bond the team closer to hopefully push into the top5 bracket of the UK?
The LAN will definitely help the team bond together; most of us have met before so there shouldn't be any problems. It would be nice to get the results on LAN and be up there with the big boys in the UK.

How have the big boys of the scene reacted to this new team, basically coming out of nowhere to take down some of the top names. Have they been supportive or do you think it hard to get practice vs. the top teams?

Well everyone knows what the UK scene is like we don't support each other at all! In all honesty I think some of the teams respect us and some think we are crap, but at the end of the day its always going to be like that. I believe if we get the results on LAN then we will gain the support.

It is hard to get practice against some of the top teams as they just think there above you but we just play whoever we can.Well hopefully this I-series you can show the UK and even Europe what complete control is about.

I'll let you carry on preparing for your game tonight and of course any shout outs?

Shout outs to everyone at complete-control especially my sexy manager balth! And our sponsor Tigit.co.uk
