Signups for the SJ Rifle Cup are now closed.
If you haven't signed up or have previously but cannot make the event now please comment on this or the official signup news post and it will be sorted out.

Due to the CGS draft in London the dates of the SourceJunky Rifle Cup have been changed to the 3rd/4th of October.
If anybody has signed up for the 26/27th dates and cannot make the 3/4th please comment below this post and I will remove you from the signup list.
Details of the maps, anti cheat and specific event Rules will be posted tomorrow and signups will close in a few days.

Well after four and a half hours and thousands of shots fired, we finally have a winner.
1st -  Ewaf (Asperity)
2nd - beta (r3)
3/4 -  Fifflaren (CheckSix)
3/4 -  Chobo (MultiGamer)
Well done to Ewaf from Asperity for winning the event and taking the GTS 8800 graohics card, courtesy of HVPC. Well done to all that entered and competed, and thanks for all the efforts all night by the admins. Thanks also to our sponsors, HVPC and Wireplay, and for Infused Radio for casting the event.

UPDATE: After receiving many questions there are a few major points which should be re-iterated.
This event is on THURSDAY THE 10TH OF MAY
a) This is a ONE NIGHT EVENT, therefore there are no reschedules and you play back to back until you either lose or you win the final.
b) You MUST be in #sourcejunky on irc (quakenet) 10minutes before the start of the event and you must stay there throughout the night (irc for 19:20BST, 20:20CET)
c) The event starts at 19:30 BST which is 20:30 CET
PLEASE READ THE RULES BELOW TO FAMILIARISE YOURSELF WITH THE EVENT
Here is everything you need for the night, whether you are playing or just watching:
1. Rules
2. Fixtures, Scores, Match Times
3. Commentary by Infused-Radio
How to play:
1) Check the table and find out when your playing and what server your on. Make sure youve read the rules .
2) When its your time, CHECK to make sure any previous games have finished, then join the server.
3) When both players are ready, one of you alt-tab to IRC and pm the Server Admin (see irc topic for who is Server Admin) and request the map you want and a restart. Make sure you pm the Server Admin, no-one else. He will give you enough time to alt-tab back and be ready, then restart the game and announce it live. POV's must be recorded.
4) Once the game is done, leave the server and pm the Score Admin and tell him the result. Dont forget, it makes it a pain for us.
5) If you won, keep checking the table for your next fixture.
