ClanBase EuroCup Playoffs
Posted by Penguin on Saturday, 03 November 2007, 15:06
The group stages of the Clanbase Eurocup are now over, leaving just 16 teams to progress to the playoffs. Already a few drops have been seen from the groups: mTw refused to provide a SourceTV demo, while 3 other teams played with a merc and were disqualified by ClanBase.

The teams to go through the the playoffs are:

fnatic to take it, but 4Kings, MYM and Reason to do well!

Can CGS teams not compete?
Penguin Sat, 03 November 2007 - 23:01:45
I think, at the time the teams were invited, the draft had just happened or was happening, so the future was unstable and the teams + CB decided to keep them out of this one.

Probably the right decision at the time, but this event may not be taken into consideration when judging the best in Europe as, arguably, 4 of the best team's are not competing.

How'd you figure that? If anything the CGS teams should be out of mind when a "best in europe" is done as they are the ones who can't compete with the rest of the MR15 playing world half the time.
