ESL Major Series Group Stage Begins

Next week the main group stage of the Counter-Strike: Source ESL Major Series begins with 24 of some of Europe's best teams competing against each other for €4.000 in prize money. The groups have been made, the matches scheduled, see inside for full details.

The Groups

Of course the part you are most interested in are the groups! The twenty-four qualifier teams have been split into four groups of six, in each group every team will play a single, 30 round match against each other.

We remind all players and managers of teams competing this season to read the rulebook fully, contact us by ticket if you have any questions!

The Schedule

The current match schedule can be found here.

Playday 1: 29th October - 4th November
Playday 2: 5th November - 11th November
Playday 3: 12th November - 18th November
Playday 4: 19th November - 25th November
Playday 5: 26th November - 2nd December *
Catch-up: 3rd December - 9th December **

* Exceptions may be made for DreamHack / EPS Finals teams, where possible match will be scheduled for the beginning of the week. Teams should contact us as soon as possible to discuss any problems as a result of attending upcoming events.

** All matches that for any reason are not yet played must be played in this week

As i said on Cadred, Group C is the Group of Death as all those teams have a good chance of winning that group.
