We've decided to postpone the Winter Warmer Cup. The main reason for this is because we feel we can give you a better deal and make it free. The cup itself will happen nearer to March, and will be free for everybody, without the LAN at the end, and with a few more prizes! You'll hear a few more details in the near future, don't worry. As (or so I have been told) nobody has paid yet at this early stage, there are no refunds to be handed out. If you have paid by accident, contact me ASAP and I'll get your money refunded.

Last week saw a largely successful pre-launch test show, our first show on eSportsFM.  There was an issue towards the end of the show, that most people know about, but on the whole things went well.

We want the first full show on eSportsFM to be as close to pefect as possible and lots of people are very busy around this time of year including potential guests as well as the people invovled with making the show.  In addition we have some stubborn technical issues that are taking slightly longer than anticipated to resolve. For the above reasons we've decided to delay the full launch an extra week.  All being well the full launch should be Friday 28/12/2007.

In the meantime we're going ahead with the "Review of 2007" show tonight as discussed last week.  Myself and Dr Gonzo will be present, and we will be joined by a couple of guests to offer insight and comment on the review.

Listen live from 8pm GMT - http://www.esportsfm.co.uk/page/?ID=listen

To comment or appear on the show tonight please join us in #esportsfm on QuakeNet IRC - you can also text us on 89892 - start your message with the word eSportsFM.

Last week's show was unfortunately cancelled for various reasons, not least of which was Vini's last minute invitation to a Christmas night out at his new job. It's a shame we didn't do the show, because it was supposed to be our "swan song" on Tigit. In retrospect though it was probably good that it didn't go out, because there was absolutely no preperation. All that, however, is about to change.

ViniH has done back to the drawing board and proceeded to smash it into litle pieces. The result? Friday Night In has been transformed - we're taking the original vision for the show (that listeners saw glimpses of in the first few shows) improving it, and sticking to it without deviation.
