Multiplay announce QuadV Coverage for i32
Posted by Luke Cotton on Tuesday, 06 November 2007, 16:28
5th November 2007, LONDON, England – Europe’s leading online gaming video broadcasters, QuadV have been hired by Multiplay to produce their internet TV coverage for the forthcoming i32 tournaments.
Multiplay's i32 LAN event runs from Friday 9th November to Monday 12th November from Newbury, UK.

As usual, all of the grand finals from all of the tournaments will be streamed live as they happen from the main stage at the event on stream 1.

In addition, Multiplay and QuadV have announced that they will be running two further streams from the event with every round of the Intel sponsored $20,000 Quake 4 tournament covered exclusively live on Stream 2 by Paul “ReDeYe” Chaloner and Joe “Joe” Miller. Counter-Strike Source fans also get a dedicated stream for all rounds of the Multiplay €12,000 tournament with commentary coming from Jay “DH” Atkins and Ben “Hoodini” Hodder.

In addition, Stuart “TosspoT” Saw and Leigh “Deman” Smith will be on hand to provide commentary from the main stage, whilst Paul “ReDeYe” Chaloner will once again fulfil the role of main stage presenter.

QuadV Director Paul Chaloner said “Multiplay has always lead the way when it comes to running the biggest LAN tournaments in the UK and we are only too happy to be working with them and providing them with an incredible 3 live streams for i32. It was particularly important to us and to Multiplay to cover the entire Quake 4 tournament with the real possibility of this being the very last major Quake 4 tournament in the world and we are thrilled to be able to provide a dedicated stream for fans of the game. It really is going to be a fantastic and historic event”.

With many games and tournaments to look forward to, Paul Chaloner was also keen to point out that they will not be neglecting the other games either. “Whilst we have the two dedicated streams, we will also have the main stage stream which will show all of the grand finals for all of the games being played at i32, including COD4, Crysis, ETQW and many more, so there really is something for everyone to tune in for.”

The full schedule for all three streams and the games you can expect to see on them will be published on the www.multiplay.co.uk and www.quadv.com websites as the event begins. Coverage starts Saturday 10th November and runs through to Monday 12th November and you can tune in to the 3 streams over the weekend by heading over to http://i32.multiplay.co.uk/.
