Turn Up And Play At i32
Posted by Penguin on Thursday, 18 October 2007, 16:09
Multiplay have annouced that players can now turn up and play for the Source (and ET:QW) tournaments at i32. The TUP ticket costs £30 for the weekend, and entitles you to play on a top of the range Packard Bell machine for tournaments, tournament entry, a spectator pass for the whole weekend AND free camping! It's the first time this has been offered to games outside of the WCG tournament as well. For me details: click here .

Yeah, well people have always said its expensive.

Multiplay are trying to have a small profit margin per person, but to rack in the numbers at this event (their lowest turnout of the year) to make up for it.

You're not allowed a warmup though/playing though - its tournament games only.

Could get pretty inconsistant for any teams who use the TUP.

In all the biggest tournaments that's always been the way. WCG and CGS for example.

Agreed ben0, but will the fact that will 'TUP vs Normal' pricing make a difference to the results?
