SourceJunky Rifle Cup Official Rules
mIRCYou MUST be in #sourcejunky for 18:50PM BST (19:50PM CET), from there participants will be directed to another channel in which information will be passed along
Scoring
Each map is play on a "1st to 10" basis. The player that gets to 10 first wins the map. Players must reach a score of 10 (so for example if a player suicided by accident, he would need 11 frags to get to 10). A player must win 2 maps to win the match.
Maps
The official Rifle Cup maps are to be played in order 1, 2, 3. Map 3 does not need to be played if a player wins both maps 1 and 2.
Anti-Cheat
You MUST use the Anti-Cheat and screenshots will be checked. Anybody that doesn't have the required screenshots will default their game.
Names and Tags
All players must use their correct and full names, and their clan tag
Guns
There are no buyzones so you cannot buy. You can use whatever weapons the map spawns you with.
Reserve places
Players that do not show or drop out for their 1st round games will be replaced by a reserve from the reserve list. After round 1, any players dropping out will not be replaced and their opponent will receive a bye to the next round.
Cheating
Cheating accusations must NOT be made in game, but after the game has finished to an admin. If you suspect a player of cheating, play the game to the end then inform an admin, who will request and review the demo. This must be done immediately after the game is finished or any claims will be ignored.
Pausing
Players may pause the server for up to 2 minutes per game should they need. If a player crashes or drops, the opposing player MUST pause the game until they return, as there is no admin in the server. If a player drops and does not come back after 5 minutes, please alt-tab and tell an admin.
Ping Restrictions
Anybody with a ping consistently over 80ms will be disqualfied from the event
No Shows
Due to the tight time frame in which the cup has to run you must be on the server ready to start within 5 minutes of your scheduled start time. If the event runs over slightly the admins will take this into consideration but disqualification because of no-show is at the admins discretion in order to keep the event running on time.
