In a rather unexpected turn of events Anomaly has joined the Complete Control ranks as there counter strike source team. The line up is as follows:
menengroth MagillzonEEE reyno delz0r regzor
I managed to catch up with the manager of complete-control Balth for some in-depth reasons for the pick-up.
So first of all how did the deal of Anomaly becoming your source team first come about? Well after the previous team leaving us unexpectedly we felt it was time to look for a decent replacement, there were many teams that approached us to have the opportunity to become the new cC but none seemed to fit the bill. I approached anomaly and from the start we could see we had common goals. The team has undergone changes recently and also inactiveness. How will you try and get them active and ready for a high finish at i33? Well firstly they were inactive due to exams, after the Xmas period they will be fully active again to prepare for Midlands and then I33, we will be making sure they start playing teams at a high level again, there is no doubt it will take a few weeks for them to be back to top form but when they are they will be showing that they are a very decent line-up.
Anomaly has always managed to perform well on LAN with a few high finishes at midlands and some good showings at the Iseries, was this the main point which drove you to them above the other teams or is there more to this team than stellar LAN performances? There are many reasons why we picked up anomaly but yes LAN is one of the main reasons, they are consistent and with extra effort and preparation at boot camps they can really push for a top8 position at i33.
How do you think this team will compare to the old cC line-up? Well I have every confidence in this team and have no reason not to believe they can be as good if not better than the previous cC team at LAN.
Ok we will look forward to seeing the complete control organisation in full form with numerous divisions including the new cod4 and ut3 line ups at LAN. Any final statement? Yes im really looking forward to LAN with around 15 of us attending it will be a blast, i feel we have very promising players in every team we are taking and i expect cC to perform very well and i wish all of the players the best of luck with all their LAN preparations and you can keep track of there results on our site www.complete-control.org. Shout outs to all the cC squads and the management team, also Jon from Tigit for the fantastic continued support he offers the organisation, its refreshing to see a GSP put so much back into the community it’s a pleasure to work with all of you. Also shout outs to jimm from mySKI and you for taking the time to interview me. |
